Opportunity On Wheels
In 2022, as families emerged from the pandemic, many single parents struggled to provide for their children. iCare responded with a micro-business initiative, equipping participants with a food cart, initial supplies, and financial literacy training. These small businesses have boosted family incomes by 50–70% on average. To date, 70 families have benefited, gaining not only financial stability but also the chance for parents to model resilience and responsibility, inspiring hope and lasting change. Our current goal is to give out 20+ carts annually.
Stay in School
Many families throughout Bangkok don’t have money to pay for school supplies or transportation for their children to attend school. We work directly with these families to meet those needs so that every child has the opportunity to study.
Every Saturday our team joined by local volunteers tutor students from different communities around the greater Bangkok area.
A Brighter Future
We believe that every person is valuable and can make a difference, regardless of age. That’s why we have consistently partnered with adult training centers to provide career development opportunities – helping people gain the skills they need to build stable futures and get back on their feet.
Rest for the Weary
There are many single mothers and elderly people among the communities we serve who need specialized support. We address these needs by providing medicine, diapers, baby formula and other practical resources to meet and help people wherever they are in life.
