Our Catalyst Scholarship Program

Our Catalyst Scholarship Program was launched in 2014 with just two students and a dream: to build a pathway for students from impoverished communities to access higher education. Since then the program has grown significantly, broadening it’s impact to empower students at all educational levels by providing financial support, helping them overcome barriers, and ultimately providing a path for them to achieve their academic goals.

Meet the 2025 class of scholarship recipients who will soon begin their university journeys. Take a moment to hear their beautiful and inspiring stories of gratitude and strength.

Program Growth

Over the past three years, iCare’s scholarship program has experienced exponential growth, with more than 80% of all scholarships awarded during this time. We are eager to build on this momentum and continue creating bridges for students like Ratree, enabling them to complete their education and give back to their communities.

Looking ahead to 2026, our goal is to award over 50 new scholarships – including support for 20 or more students pursuing full bachelor’s or technical college degrees.

Ratree is the student who started it all. As the first to request a scholarship, she became the spark that has led to us granting more than 100 tertiary scholarships to students across the years.

Our IBecome Hospitality Program

The IBecome Hospitality Program is an exclusive, fast-track career development initiative in partnership with Payap University in Chiang Mai. Our inaugural 2024 class has graduated, and we assisted students in securing employment immediately upon completion

The program consists of nine months of intensive study, followed by a six-month internship at prestigious hotels and resorts. This hands-on training equips students with the skills and experience needed to launch successful careers in the hospitality industry. Looking ahead to 2026, we hope to sponsor 30 or more students to join this program.
