The Vision

Our “Homes of Hope” initiative was launched to provide educational opportunities for kids who wouldn’t have access to school otherwise. It started as a solution for students living too far away or dealing with unsafe travel conditions, offering them a place to stay during the school week or semester. As the project evolved, we realized that rural areas required more than just dorms for students. These needs led to the expansion of the Homes of Hope project beyond dormitories to encompass not only dormitories but also school facilities and housing for teachers.

Furthering the Goal

We just finished our second dormitory at Nam Piang Din, which is part of our mission to create educational opportunities in the remote regions of Mae Hong Son. This new dorm will accommodate 22 students, providing them with a safe and supportive place to live and study. It’s a place where they can stay for years to come, ensuring that distance won’t hinder their education anymore. We’re really looking forward to seeing how this space will help them grow academically and contribute to the bright futures ahead of them.

New Dorms

In 2024, our team travelled to the secluded village of Huay Hia. With help from the local community, we constructed a dormitory that will benefit students for many years ahead.

Christmas Cheer

Every December our team visits dozens of dorms to celebrate Christmas with students, bringing along school supplies, blankets, snacks, and toys. We have fun playing games, doing activities, and spreading joy, making sure the kids feel loved and ready for the chilly winter months coming up.
